Terms of service

Last updated September 21, 2026

These terms are the agreement between CEO Family Investments LLC ("BookVAO", "we") and the business that opens an account ("you"). By creating an account or using the BookVAO app you agree to them. People who simply book an appointment on a business's site are covered by our privacy policy, not by these terms.

What you get

A booking website at your own BookVAO address (or your own domain on the Premium plan), a dashboard to run it, logins for your team, and the BookVAO mobile app. We may improve or change features; we will not remove something you rely on without notice.

Your account and your team

Keep your password safe and give each person their own login rather than sharing one. You are responsible for what your team does with the access you give them, and you can remove anyone's access at any time. Tell us promptly if you think an account has been misused.

Free trial and billing

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is needed. To keep your site taking bookings after that, choose a plan; subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew until you cancel. You can cancel whenever you like in the dashboard and keep the service until the end of the period you paid for. Payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires it. If a subscription lapses, online booking is paused and your data is kept so you can pick up where you left off. We will give at least 30 days' notice of a price change.

Your data

Your client list, appointments and content are yours. We use them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, and you can take them with you or delete them. You promise that you have the right to put that information into BookVAO, and that you will handle your clients' information lawfully, including answering their privacy requests.

Messages to your clients

BookVAO sends appointment emails on your behalf, and text messages only to clients who asked for them. You agree not to use the service to send marketing to people who have not agreed to it, and to respect every opt-out.

Acceptable use

  • Use BookVAO for a real, lawful business and describe it honestly.
  • Do not upload content you have no right to use, or anything unlawful, hateful or deceptive.
  • Do not try to break in, overload the service, scrape it, or reach another business's data.
  • Do not resell the service or point a domain at it that you do not control.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk, and will tell you why.

Availability and support

We work hard to keep BookVAO running and your data backed up, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance is kept short and outside business hours where possible. Help is at bookvao.com/support.

What we are not responsible for

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or missed appointments), and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The appointment itself is between you and your client; we are not a party to it.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious or repeated breaches. After closure your data is deleted as the privacy policy describes; ask first if you need an export.

The rest

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and disputes go to the courts located there, unless the law where you live says otherwise. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update them; if a change matters we will email you before it takes effect, and continuing to use BookVAO after that means you accept it. Questions: support@bookvao.com.
